We are delighted to have you as part of our learning community.
To ensure a positive, respectful and enjoyable learning experience for everyone, we have established the following Terms & Conditions. They explain how our Academy operates, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from our students.
Registration
Students can register by completing the online Registration Form available on the Avdi Academy website. Prospective students who would like to discuss their learning goals before enrolling may request a live consultation with the Academy. A place in a group is confirmed only after full payment has been received.
Courses & Tuition Fees
Regular Group Classes
- 2 lessons per week: €150 per month
Flexible Group Classes
1 lesson per week: €90 per month
8-Week Intensive Course
€340 per course
Speaking Sessions
Speaking Sessions are offered periodically depending on student interest and availability.
Participation fee:
€10 per session
Payment
Payments are made via PayPal.
- New students must complete full payment before the course begins in order to secure their place.
- Returning students are expected to complete payment during the first ten (10) days of each month.
Refund Policy
Students are entitled to a full refund:
- if they cancel their enrolment before the course begins;
- if Avdi Academy cancels the course.
If lessons are cancelled by the Academy and cannot be rescheduled, students will receive an appropriate refund for the cancelled lessons.
Refunds are not provided for student absences.
Public Holidays & Academy Closures
Lessons are not held on official public holidays.
Instead of a live lesson, students will receive additional learning material, revision activities, or projects designed to support their learning.
Avdi Academy remains closed:
- for approximately two weeks during the Christmas holidays;
- for approximately two weeks during the Easter holidays;
- throughout the month of August.
Tuition fees are adjusted accordingly during months affected by Christmas and Easter closures.
Minimum Number of Students
A minimum of three (3) students is required for a group course to operate.
If this minimum is not reached, Avdi Academy reserves the right to postpone, merge or cancel the group.
Lesson Cancellations
If a lesson is cancelled by the Academy, a replacement lesson will be scheduled in consultation with the students, taking into account the availability of the majority of the group.
Learning Environment & Code of Conduct
Avdi Academy is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive and safe learning environment for everyone.
We welcome learners of every nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age and background. Diversity is celebrated, and discrimination, harassment or offensive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
All members of our learning community are expected to treat one another with kindness, respect and empathy.
If a student feels uncomfortable or believes they have experienced inappropriate behaviour, they are encouraged to contact the Academy. Every concern will be treated with care, respect and confidentiality.
To maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for everyone, Avdi Academy reserves the right to remove a student from a course in cases of repeated inappropriate behaviour or serious violations of these Terms & Conditions.
Course Changes
Any changes to the course timetable or schedule will be communicated to students in advance whenever possible.
Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for:
- attending lessons from a quiet environment;
- ensuring a stable internet connection;
- using a computer, tablet or smartphone suitable for online learning;
- joining lessons on time.
If a student misses a lesson due to illness, travel or other personal reasons, they will receive:
- the complete lesson material;
- study guidance;
- a brief recap during the following lesson.
Whenever necessary, a short additional support meeting may be arranged after consultation with the teacher.
Our Commitment to Our Students
At Avdi Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality teaching and a supportive learning experience.
The teacher is responsible for:
• preparing each lesson carefully and professionally;
• providing well-structured learning materials and resources;
• creating a respectful, encouraging and inclusive classroom environment;
• offering constructive feedback and guidance throughout the learning journey;
• supporting students’ progress and answering questions whenever possible;
• informing students as early as possible about any changes to the timetable;
• respecting students’ privacy and personal data.
Technical Requirements
Students are responsible for ensuring that they have:
- a stable internet connection;
- a computer, tablet or smartphone with a working camera and microphone;
- access to the required online platform;
- a quiet environment suitable for learning.
Technical difficulties on the student’s side do not qualify for refunds. However, the Academy will provide the lesson materials and reasonable support whenever possible.
Placement
Avdi Academy reserves the right to recommend a different group or level whenever this better supports the student’s learning progress.
Attendance
Regular attendance is strongly encouraged, as our courses are collaborative and build progressively from one lesson to the next.
Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, worksheets, presentations, activities and digital resources remain the intellectual property of Avdi Academy.
Students may not:
- reproduce,
- distribute,
- share,
- upload,
- sell,
- or publish
any Academy material without prior written permission.
Recording lessons (audio or video) is not permitted unless prior permission has been granted by the Academy.
