About Avdi
AVDI is a small, structured online Greek language school created for adult learners around the world.
It was founded with one clear intention: to offer a safe, calm, and meaningful learning environment for adults who want to learn Greek seriously, without pressure or unrealistic promises.
At AVDI, learning Greek is not about rushing through levels or memorising rules. It is about steady progress, understanding how the language works, and gaining the confidence to use Greek in real-life situations.

About the teacher
I am a native Greek speaker based in Athens and a certified tutor of Greek as a second/foreign language. I hold a BA in Greek Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a specialization in Classical Studies, an MA in Teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign Language from the University of Nicosia (with distinction), and a Master’s degree in Creative Writing.
I have over six years of experience teaching Modern Greek to adult learners from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and South America.
My teaching approach is structured, flexible, and fully adapted to each student’s goals. Lessons are based on real communication from the very beginning, combining authentic materials (videos, dialogues, images, music) with clear and targeted grammar support. I have worked for 3.5 years as Head of Education in an NGO, where I taught Greek to refugees and migrants and took part in European Erasmus+ educational programmes focused on language learning, integration, and adult education. I have also developed Greek teaching materials for both adults and teenagers.
I specialize in teaching adults from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2) level, helping learners build confidence in speaking, understanding, and using Greek in everyday life.
In my lessons, you will:
